Egg maturation under scrutiny and fertilization at the best possible time

Visualization of the egg spindle plays a key role in the correct timing of fertilization, which has a significant impact on the quality of the resulting embryo. This sophisticated method uses non-invasive polarizing microscopy to closely monitor the maturation process of the eggs.

The essence of this technique is to monitor the structure of the dividing spindle, which allows doctors to pinpoint the optimal time to start the fertilization process. Fertilization, carried out by the ICSI method, is thus applied only when the egg is fully ready for successful and healthy embryo development.

This procedure is recommended especially for patients who develop an unexpectedly low number of mature eggs after treatment. This approach ensures optimal conditions for fertilization, which in turn can enhance the chances of successful assisted reproduction and healthy fetal development.
