Wrinkle smoothing
Botulinum type A products offer an effective solution for the removal of facial wrinkles on the forehead, neck and around the eyes that can appear with age. By applying this active ingredient, the neuromuscular connections are severed, causing the muscle to relax.
The duration of the effect is individual, usually in the range of 3-5 months. To maintain long-term results, regular repeat treatments are recommended, and the application is safe and the substance acts only at the site of application.
The treatment is carried out in an outpatient mode. The treatment site can be coated with a numbing cream prior to application for patient comfort. The application itself takes only a few minutes after the previous 20-30 minutes. The total treatment time does not exceed one hour
- Five hours after the treatment, the patient should not lie down or bend over.
- There may be a little redness at the injection site, but this will soon fade.
- For 2 days after treatment, major physical activity should be limited.
- The application sites should not be squeezed or massaged and it is recommended to avoid visiting the sauna or solarium.
- The final effect can be seen in approximately one week.
